What is Bacon May Die?
Bacon May Die is the viral, lightning-fast side-scrolling beat 'em up created by indie game developer SnoutUp (creator of Iron Snout and Cave Blast). You play as a fearless little kung-fu piglet fighting for his survival against endless hordes of hungry zombie butchers, enraged forest hogs, chainsaw-wielding lumberjacks, and bomb-strapped sheep.
What sets Bacon May Die apart is its remarkably responsive dual-directional control engine. Tapping toward incoming enemies strings together rapid martial arts flurries, uppercut launchers, and leaping dropkicks, while holding the attack button draws your firearm to spray hot lead across the screen.
How to Play Bacon May Die

- Tap Left / Right Arrow to execute high-speed melee strikes in that direction.
- Hold Left / Right Arrow to draw and fire your equipped ranged weapon (handguns, shotguns, machine guns, and rocket launchers).
- Press Up Arrow to leap into the air and launch staggered enemies into aerial juggles.
- Press Down Arrow to duck under incoming projectiles, slide-tackle rushing enemies, or perform a diving ground pound.
- Collect coins dropped by defeated butchers to buy hilarious hats, outfits, katanas, chainsaws, and heavy firepower in the character wardrobe.

Tips for High Wave Survival
- Never Get Pincered: Avoid fighting in the center of the screen. Use slide tackles and roll dodges to herd enemies onto one side of you so you can cut down entire lines of butchers simultaneously.
- Take Out Ranged Enemies First: Butchers throwing cleavers and boars carrying crossbows will chip away at your health while you focus on melee fighters. Roll past the frontline to eliminate shooters first.
- Deflect Thrown Weapons: Time your melee strike as an incoming butcher axe flies toward your head. Hitting it reflects the weapon back at high velocity, decapitating the attacker instantly.
